LYNX Art Academy wants to send a huge thank you out to all of the talented artists that submitted work to our first international art competition, LOVE IS LOVE! We would also like to thank our wonderful judges, Haley Manchon and Moss Head! Selecting three winners was not an easy task. All of the submissions were absolutely beautiful and definitely spread a lot of love!

All artwork will be displayed in the LOVE IS LOVE Exhibition Gallery. Winning artwork will be sold below on graphic t-shirts and stickers throughout the month of October where 100% of profits will go towards making art programs and classes accessible for everyone!

We have also included a comment section at the bottom of our gallery page for any viewers that would like to spread some love!

Haley Manchon grew up outside of Philadelphia and received her BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2018. She is represented by MK Apothecary in Collingswood, NJ, and has her work displayed on the 2nd floor of The People’s Store in Lambertville, NJ. In addition to exhibiting her work, she is commissioned for projects that span from portrait drawings to logos, branding, and editorial illustration. Haley's recent portrait drawings use superimposed imagery of compounded features and patterns to present a visual, literal cycling of thoughts and moments. Additionally, she has been developing the characters and worlds that exist in her sketchbooks. These drawings are very personal – a strange mix of childhood nostalgia, painful memories and visual note taking. It is a practice that has become especially comforting in this past year.

He moved to Baltimore in 2013 to attend the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), where he sought a degree in General Fine Arts and Illustration. His artwork ranges in mediums including painting, illustration, graphic design, music production, DJing, sculpture, uv installations, and murals.

Moss Head has been featured as an artist on several platforms: an appearance on art podcast Getting to the Truth Behind this Art, a printed feature in CURIOUS magazine in Los Angeles, and as a performer for the 9:30 Club's Virtual Underground Music Festival. He currently resides in Baltimore City as a freelance artist, DJ, and music producer. He is set to release his first EP as a solo artist in the fall of 2021.
